Call it fall or autumn; it’s a season that somehow easily conjures up change with all the seasonal images, feelings, sounds and tastes. You can’t deny the change. And, maybe it’s the best time of year to consider your change? Whether it’s business or your personal life, why not open up and let her do her magic.

Every leaf speaks bliss to me,  Fluttering from the autumn tree.
Emily Bronte

Stunning colors of red, yellow, orange, and purple leaves are all around where I live during the fall. As leaves fall naturally, the tree limbs go bare. What do you need to – what do you need to let fall away naturally? I find this is one of the best times of year I can easily consider things I’ve tolerated, things I’ve done and things left undone. For some reason, it’s the season when it’s more natural that I let go of things. Just like the bugs start to die off during this time of year, you get let go of what bugs you.

Autumn asks that we prepare for the future —that we be wise in the ways of garnering and keeping.

Bonaro W. Overstreet

But, fall doesn’t let you off too easily! You can’t just let go. It offers a crisp and clear call for preparing. Whether you have intentions, or set goals, or some other way to plan, you’ll find things cooperating with your feelings as you plan, even if it’s just to start to plan. The summer heat is over and it’s a welcome time to leave the windows open – no pollen or humidity. Open up your window on your calendar to start some serious planning.

Summer is already better, but the best is autumn. It is mature, reasonable and serious, it glows moderately and not frivolously … It cools down, clears up, makes you reasonable

Valentin

Serious? Reasonable? You’ve got – the crackling of leaves as you walk through them, kids of all ages out and about in costumes at Halloween, cheering at football games. Sounds more like serious fun to me! The sounds and activities of the fall season are a kind of reasonable cheering you on. For me, every year, I begin a kind of personal growth hibernation stage during fall and winter. I often invest in myself with workshops and teleclasses. It can be almost any topic that seems to call to me to give me more energy.

You might have your own favorite season and it really doesn’t matter which one it is. Just pick one. Find out how it can let you do – that spring cleaning in your life and business, heat up some passion in your work and life, cool your jets and for my favorite time – fall into some changes with ease. Let go, then prepare and let yourself have some fun.

Do you feel ready for some changes? How can you let your favorite season help you along?

Art by Helen Kippert.

You wake up at 3:00 – 4:00am and you try to go back to sleep and you can’t so you toss and turn. This has happened to me the past few mornings..I didn’t necessarily wake up because I was dreaming about something..just needed a drink of water and pee. Then my mind starts to think of all the things I need to do when I get up.

Can you believe it?? Facebook, I think of the things I need to post, and all the stuff I need to do. I get into this panic mode. Slowly, I am deleting or removing things off my plate. It is obviously over loaded. The there are those people who I would like to stay in touch with and can’t seem to get to them. What should I do?

I have a project that I have been working on for a about a year or so..I have been spending more time on that and still try to keep up with everything I believe is important. It just has come to a head of making decisions on what I need to be doing and all that jazz. Do you feel overwhelmed sometimes?

The other day I asked for some help, guess what? I had a nice chat with a guy, he was just trying to help me to get to the next step in my project. My dream. There are many things that I need to accomplish one of the things is to raise money for it. This is where I am right now.

What is it that you need now? What is your next step? Do you have a project that you are working on and you need to chat with someone or meet to help you to get to the next step? What ever it is I encourage you to ask for it. You can leave a comment at the end of this post or you can post it on my Facebook page. Let’s start a dialogue in helping each other. So we all can avoid the 3 or 4 am wake up calls.

On the weekend I was on a hike with my hubby , the vertical of this climb was becoming tiring, while walking up the rock I was getting tired and we were only a few feet from the top of the rock butte. I felt I was done, I didn’t think I would make it to the top. So, I sat down for a rest and then climbed up the top. While sitting there I was wondering about how many times I have almost made it to the top or reached my goal and sometimes I have just given up.

What I would like you to think about is the question that I presented. What boost do you need to get to the next point in your business or life? What do you need help in? Make your request known. I want you to be successful and it doesn’t come to us if we don’t ask for help. I know, I am famous myself for this.

P.S. I will be interviewing
Carol Deckert tomorrow morning, 8:00am PST or 11:00am EST, here’s the link to the call, sign in as a guest.
