Be Nice
When I am going through a tough emotionally and challenging time, the key things that I have found is just to be kinder to myself. I found this quote by Christian D. Larson, it’s really helping me when I read it to remind me to focus on myself not what’s going on outside of me.
It’s a Promise that you give to yourself to help you to become happier
- To be strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
- To talk of health, happiness and prosperity to every person I meet
- To make all my friends feel that here is something worthwhile in them
- To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true
- To think only of the best, to work only for the yes and pet expect only the best
- To be just as enthusiastic about the success of other as I am about my own
- To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the great achievements of the future
- To wear a cheerful expression at all time and give a smile to every living create I meet
- To give so much time to improving myself that I have not time to criticize others
- To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble
- To think well of myself and to proclaim this face to the world not in loud words but it great deeds
- To live in the faith that whole world is on my side, so long as I am true to the best that is in me.
In addition:
Be nice to yourself, as you will feel better about yourself
Haven’t you heard that it is better to give than to receive?!? In fact, studies have shown that the giver usually has a bigger boost in positive emotions than the receiver! Being kind and nice really is good for you. It gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling all over. Of course, these positive feelings carry over into all areas of your life causing a general improvement in well-being. This translates into feeling good about yourself. What a bonus!
The best portion of a good man’s life – his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.

You wake up at 3:00 – 4:00am and you try to go back to sleep and you can’t so you toss and turn. This has happened to me the past few mornings..I didn’t necessarily wake up because I was dreaming about something..just needed a drink of water and pee. Then my mind starts to think of all the things I need to do when I get up.
Can you believe it?? Facebook, I think of the things I need to post, and all the stuff I need to do. I get into this panic mode. Slowly, I am deleting or removing things off my plate. It is obviously over loaded. The there are those people who I would like to stay in touch with and can’t seem to get to them. What should I do?
I have a project that I have been working on for a about a year or so..I have been spending more time on that and still try to keep up with everything I believe is important. It just has come to a head of making decisions on what I need to be doing and all that jazz. Do you feel overwhelmed sometimes?
The other day I asked for some help, guess what? I had a nice chat with a guy, he was just trying to help me to get to the next step in my project. My dream. There are many things that I need to accomplish one of the things is to raise money for it. This is where I am right now.
What is it that you need now? What is your next step? Do you have a project that you are working on and you need to chat with someone or meet to help you to get to the next step? What ever it is I encourage you to ask for it. You can leave a comment at the end of this post or you can post it on my Facebook page. Let’s start a dialogue in helping each other. So we all can avoid the 3 or 4 am wake up calls.
On the weekend I was on a hike with my hubby , the vertical of this climb was becoming tiring, while walking up the rock I was getting tired and we were only a few feet from the top of the rock butte. I felt I was done, I didn’t think I would make it to the top. So, I sat down for a rest and then climbed up the top. While sitting there I was wondering about how many times I have almost made it to the top or reached my goal and sometimes I have just given up.
What I would like you to think about is the question that I presented. What boost do you need to get to the next point in your business or life? What do you need help in? Make your request known. I want you to be successful and it doesn’t come to us if we don’t ask for help. I know, I am famous myself for this.
P.S. I will be interviewing Carol Deckert tomorrow morning, 8:00am PST or 11:00am EST, here’s the link to the call, sign in as a guest.
