Mentoring Directory
After brainstorming with Carol Deckert about how to add value and teach other people what we know for those who want to know more..whatever topic is of interest she suggested that I have a mentoring directory. I asked a few people on Facebook if they would be interested in Mentoring and of course what topics they would like to know more about.
Mentoring
There were a few people interested..Mentoring really means taking on students who are ready and willing to learn from people who are more knowledgable about topics. This is why schools are filled with students..they want to learn how to know more so they can specialize in some aspect in their business or personal skill. I wrote a post about Mentoring..read it here.
Thus the Mentoring Directory is born.
I give away several books and ebooks, training and the like to help people, why? I just like to help people. Over the past three (3) years I have been mentoring Artists in Marketing their Art. As a group effort or crowd sourcing it’s called these days..I just decided that although I have helped many artists to grow and prosper..and I have been mentored by many other people myself so I know the value that it has given me. Many years ago I would mentor new Entrepreneurs both on and off line, there are many people who seek out help.
The Mentoring Directory isn’t a membership site, however if you want to be listed in the Mentoring Directory you have to truly want to help people to be educated, learn how to do something better or give knowledge to the people that seek you out. It’s a Pay it Forward act.
If you offer other workshops, events you can list them here as well. However, when someone comes to you, you must be willing to Mentor them at some level..And not just give them a Free e-book or report. It’s your time..like a time bank.
