Overcoming your prospecting fears forever. One of the biggest challenges when joining a network marketing company is to find people to join you.

As your own boss you recognize why selling, sponsoring, and attending training are necessary. If you just stay the course you will be able to sponsor many of the people you meet at group presentations, one on one meetings or networking events and those same business relationships can turn into friendships that last a lifetime.

The key to finding people for your team is to not pre-judge. Just ask! If they say “yes”, you have a new business partner. If they say “not now” keep them in your pipeline. If they say “no” move on, and ask yourself ‘who’s next’.

I learned from the president of Arbonne, Rita Davenport, “some will, some won’t, some wait, so what, next! (SW, SW, SW, SW, N).” Don’t be down, give up, or take it personal. This is part of the process as you are looking to sponsor new people to join your team.

The more no’s you receive the closer you will get to hearing “YES”. When you make the connection with someone, you are establishing your relationship. Practice builds confidence and will make the process easier in the future.

Sponsoring is where the action is. It is productive, significant and a useful way to spend your time. Find ways to network whether it’s on the telephone, in person or on the social media sites. Build your pipeline, be consistent, and have a positive attitude.

7 Questions to ask your prospect to see if they are interested in being part of your business:

  • Where will you be 5 years from now if you keep doing what you are doing today?
  • How do you really feel about your job?
  • Have you ever considered opening your own home-based business?
  • What would an additional income stream mean to your personal finances?
  • What does success mean to you?
  • Is your current job paying you your true worth?
  • What appeals to you most when think about owning your own business?

Listen carefully; the above questions will give you great insight if you have the possibility for a new member of your team. Make sure you have learned the compensation plan of your network marketing company so you can share it with your prospects.

Sponsoring is much easier when you can explain how they can earn money if they join your team. Selling and Sponsoring are the keys to building your business! Discipline yourself. Never make excuses. A favorite quote which his so true YOU are the one in control of your life. “If it’s to be it’s up to me”. Don’t wait to have time, you never will have it.  If you desire something in life, go out do the action and CREATE IT!
