Catherine Sherlock Episode #45 she focuses on elevating the leadership conversation. She works with leaders who see a bigger picture for business than just the bottom line.
This is leadership from the inside-out: leadership actualization
The core of leadership is that when you show up as your best self as a leader, you ignite the best in others. Higher Mindfulness is about creating a more profound degree of connection with yourself and others. Empowerment. Unlocking choice. Operating at a higher level. Less inner turmoil and more inner peace.
After her Master’s, Catherine worked as an environmental and sustainability consultant. She served all levels of government, businesses large to small, non-profits and other agencies. Her work encompassed a wide range of areas from organizational development, research and evaluation to land management and education.
She loved that work – getting to work with all kinds of people and teams. Helping agencies negotiate change and create innovative solutions. Bringing people together and resolving conflict. Helping agencies tell new stories.
And yet, as much as she loved it, there was always a part that wanted more.
She felt a yearning to be able to make deeper and lasting change in the world. Solutions that were celebrated by clients still often felt like throwing tiny pebbles into a very large, deep bucket.
Over time, as she sought to facilitate greater transformation, more and more of her personal journey seeped into her work. As she did so, it became increasingly transformative for clients. She began to understand that to make real change easier required a shift in inner conditions. As people connect to their inner wisdom, they begin to see opportunities and choice points that weren’t visible before.
“That was good for me. And even better for my clients. Now that adventure grows every day.”
