What are you doing to promote you? Have you found yourself struggling to get a piece of the pie when it comes to promoting you?
Most often people feel up against other bigger service companies.
People do a lot of other affiliate marketing to bring in revenue. I have nothing against being an affiliate for other streams of revenue. However my question is “What are you doing to promote YOU?” After all, people buy from people. They don’t buy from companies. People buy product & services from people. All business is circulated through people.
My friends’ problem she is that’s she’s not developing her own Social Circle which includes creating a HUB. Your HUB is where you want people to go to when they are ready to travel or get more information – take a look at some terrific people who are in the same business as you and duplicate what they do for starters. Just have fun with it. Share information, tips about travel, not just about ticket sales. Create value for people so they want to do business with you.
If business is circulated through people how can you reach and engage with the people who are looking for what you have to give? Personally, what works for me is one to one networking. Face to Face.
I want to build rapport with people, the ones I partner with, by cultivating relationships, ask them what they need or want. Connect them to their needs 1st. Help more people by inviting them to events that will make a difference to their business, to your blog, give recommendations – by going out of your way to help them.
By doing this, they’ll remember you. As Elvis sings “I’ll remember you.” (I found a treat for you, watch the video)
They’ll notice how you are helping them, this is where reciprocity comes into play.
Not only communicate the benefits of doing business with you, demonstrate it. Take advantage of using video’s to do welcome messages, recommendations or testimonials, use video’s to welcome people to your website..
By personalizing your messages you are building rapport, this then leads to influence (when used with integrity) will lead to success and sales. Rapport is extremely important when you develop relationships with people you want to work with or anyone for that matter.
For a Travel business, where do people hang out who are traveling? Event groups, Meet-up, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn groups, meeting planners, Travel Associations, Freelance Writers, guest blog on Travel sites.
Share customer stories about their travel. Write about Romantic escapes, where people went, what did they see and do? The opportunities are endless to drive curiosity to your HUB.
Do you think you can get your piece of the pie? I think so. I know so. Don’t forget to ask for referrals.
